New To Frank Boat!

Frank sold his Boston Whaler a couple of months ago. He found a great deal on this 18 foot Sea Nymph. He is so excited to get it out on the water. We are hoping to get it on the water tomorrow!

The kids love the boat as much a Frank! Notice we gained a kid:) One of the neighbor kids came and joined in the fun.

Beach Morning with Friends!

We got up early and were on the beach by 8:30 this morning. The kids had a great time, it is always more fun with good friends! By the time we left the bucket was half full.

Yellow Hill

This is a picture of Metlakatla from the top of Yellow Hill. Chester Bay is in the back ground. Met is right on the water, if that helps you see where the houses are:) The picture really do not do it justice.

By the time we got to the top of Yellow Hill the kids were warm and did not want their hats on. Are Frank and I as cute as the kids in the hat? You can see the ocean behind us. It was so such a beautiful night.

We Love the Sun Shine!

This is a Sunflower Starfish that has had a very bad day. They are supposed to have 20 legs, he is missing over half. It you look close you can see the new legs starting, so cool!

Today Grace found a new friend! We met him at the Sand Dollar beach tonight. The kids had a great time flipping rocks and looking for crabs under them.

I had to get this picture with the light behind Grace.

This is the biggest Sunflower Starfish I have ever seen. This poor little Sunflower is missing a few legs too. It is different than the purple starfish, these ones are softer.

Tea For Two Little Girls!

Today Grace thought would be a great day for a Tea Party. So we walked down the street to a friends house and the girls had a great party. Grace set a nice table. They had gold fish cracker, string cheese, almond we substituted diet root beer for tea. So would you call it a "Beer Party"?

It was so much fun that Grace is planning another on on Friday:)

Only In Metlakatla, Alaska!

This is what the road department uses as a traffic cone. It is orange and if you put enough rocks in it it won't move. This is on our 7 miles of road, the locals call it "the highway".

Busting Some Birds!

Frank and I went shooting the other day. He looks so Cool! Frank has a friend that likes to shoot clay pigeons. Frank does not mind keeping Jim company when he goes shooting. Chuck, Frank's boss, is the guy pulling the birds in this picture.

I was so suprised that I actually broke a few birds too! It was a lot of fun, more than I thought.
